NOTHING makes a more delicious meal at breakfast – or even for dessert – than old-fashioned pancakes with cinnamon and a little sugar.
Ingredients
- One and half cups self-raising flour
- ½ cup milk
- two eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- one teaspoon vanilla essence
- one pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Use your whisk or hand powered mixer to beat the eggs and milk together until fluffy.
- Mix in the flour, a pint of salt, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence. Mix together until you have a smooth batter.
) Heat a pan on medium, and use non-stick spray on the pan.
- Pour batter into an icing bag. Cut off a small hole at the end and carefully pipe the batter in the pan a letter at a time.
- Remember to start with the letters M-U-M first!
- Flip over when cooked and repeat the process for the words you want to say – after you have finished MUM, of course.
- Serve your yummy breakfast creation to mum in bed – but do so with love and help from everyone in your family who wants to make the day special!
