INGREDIENTS
- 250g flour
- 15ml baking powder
- 2,5ml salt
- 60g butter
- 30g castor sugar
- 200ml fresh or sour milk
Preparation
- Lightly grease a baking tray. Sieve dry ingredients together.
- Rub in butter to create a fine “sand” mix. Make a hole in the centre. Add milk. Mix lightly with a fork until it starts to come together.
- Pour onto a flour-covered surface. Pat to 2cm thick. Cut out the scones and place on baking tray.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 230°C.
