WIN A BURSARY BY LUCKY DRAW!

accreditation

GETTING an education is one of the ways you can improve your life.

But many university or college students don’t complete their studies due to lack of funds.

Oxford University Press South Africa has started the #OxfordCares Bursary Competition for students struggling with funds.

Steve Cilliers, managing director at Oxford University Press, said many students performed well and wanted to complete their studies but their parents couldn’t afford to keep paying for them.

“This has a disastrous roll-over effect on the education system as it contributes to the high unemployment rate in the country.

“Oxford Press understands the impact of dropping out and stepped up with the #OxfordCares bursary offer.”

While 12 students have already won this year’s bursary competition, when it was launched this month, there will be another next year.

Steve said the competition is based on a lucky draw. It does not matter who you are or with which institution you are studying at, if you want a chance at winning, you just have to enter it.
