THE Public Relations Institute of SA in Limpopo is guiding students with their career choices.

The institute intends to help communicators who will represent it.

The #2016StudentConference was held on Friday at Unisa’s Polokwane campus to prepare students for the corporate and business life. It was attended by Unisa, Venda and Limpopo university students.

The institute’s Malesela Maubane said they are fighting the high rate of unemployment. “This is preparation for the corporate world.

Students also learned about being entrepreneurs.”

Issues tackled included adapting to corporate life, setting up businesses, writing and grooming.

Student Mmabatho Mpobane said: “I learned about communicating and operating in the corporate world. I liked the practical presentations.”
