FORMER president Nelson Mandela wished every child had quality education.
Tata said: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
To promote Mzansi education, Eskilz College, a fully accredited college, has awarded 134 deserving students free educational courses worth R500 000, in both Gauteng and KZN.
Jivesh Timmal, marketing manager of Eskilz College, told SunEducation that the short educational courses offered would cover early childhood development, basic computer studies, human resources, project management and business administration. These courses will give youth the ability to create jobs for themselves and possibly even for many others.
The free courses are part of the college’s national campaign, since they started in 2012, to train disabled people for free. Together with Durban-based charity Sizanani, the college has helped hundreds of disabled people learn needed skills and make a living.
Sibabalwe Nkhuzi, one of the recruiters at Eskilz College, said that everyone deserved a chance to make a living and become a contributing member of their family and society.
People interested in the courses the college offers can contact them by visiting www.eskilzcollege.co.za – or email a high-quality scan of their highest education qualification to [email protected] – or call 010 030 0080.
