LIBRARIES OPEN DOORS

accreditation

DURING this Literacy Month, Avbob has been adding libraries full of books to schools.

Frik Rademan, CEO of Avbob, said Avbob Foundation was committed to bringing quality libraries to all Mzansi pupils.

“We want to play a part in educating our future leaders, because an educated mind is a strong mind and strong minds open doors for us all.

“What sets our foundation apart from others is that we truly make ourselves a part of the communities – we always put education first which is one of life’s greatest transitional stages.”

He said education provides emotional and intellectual upliftment for people which liberates them from the difficulties of daily life and provides them with hope and guidance for the future.

Since 2013, the foundation has donated 43 mobile libraries to underprivileged schools, each containing approximately 2 500 books – that’s a total of 107 500 books dedicated to unlocking a meaningful and productive future for all young people in South Africa.
