HANDS UP all those who believe the sky is the limit?

The Boeing aircraft company in Seattle, US, is offering exciting, fully paid six-month internships in the United States, for Mzansi students.

The International Business Internship Programme is now open to students who are studying in a business-related field . They want full-time students, whether under-graduate or post-graduate, from South African universities and technical universities.

Registration for the next internship intake ends on 15 July.

Laila Zayan, head of Talent Pipeline Development at Boeing, said the internship was open to all students studying in a business-related field which includes industrial engineering, accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, strategy, management, and information systems.

She said that applicants had to be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme, or must have graduated within the last 12 months. Applicants that graduated in May last year or earlier will NOT be considered.

Students must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, be academic high achievers, as well as demonstrate leadership and team work skills.

The internship, which was launched in 2012, provides students with valuable experience in the latest technology as well as the latest advances in business thinking, in a variety of disciplines relating to business operations, finance, marketing, strategy and also the aviation industry.
