DR CONGO club AS Vita has been disqaulified from the CAF Champions League for allegedly using an ineligible player during their game against Mamelodi Sundown.

PSL champions Sundowns will replace AS Vita in the competition.
According to reports Idrissa Traore played in the preliminary rounds despite still serving a four-match given to him while he was a player at Stade Malien.
The two teams, drew 2-2 on aggregate, but Vita advanced to the Caf Champions League group stages on the away goals rule.
