AJAX CAPE TOWN defender, Rivaldo Coetzee, is eyeing a move to Europe.
The Bafana Bafana and Under-23 national team defender said a move to any PSL outfit won’t materialise since his focus now is to play in Europe.
Coetzee, who’s currently in Brazil, representing the SA Under-23 side at the 2016 Olympic Games, believes he can realise his dream if he could have a great tournament in Rio.
He said: “Obviously, I’m there to represent my country, but I’ll also use the platform to market myself.
“I think if I have a great tournament at the Olympics, I’ll attract European scouts and that could get me overseas.
“My aim now is to have a good time at the Olympic Games and hopefully I can get overseas clubs asking for my services.”
The 19-year-old has also been linked with a move to Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates, but he said he’s not negotiating with any local club.
“I’m not going to Downs as I’m an Ajax player and only a European move will do for me,” he said.
