THE past week has been nothing but just a reminder that South Africans are still united in democracy like Donald Trump and arrogancy.

This is despite the fact that President Jacob Zuma has stroke again with his popular cabinet reshuffle like he is changing channels on his radio set.

His reshuffle was always expected as signs of the reshuffle was clear from the day when Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma entered the list of those vying for the political party’s presidency in December to face off against Cyril Ramaphosa.

But this is not a political space, but I was just giving you an idea of how at times, despite our currency being demoted to junk or Eskom increasing electricity tariff after every two days, this country has some beauty left in it.

The beautiful mix of racial cultures is at times working. It was heartwarming on Tuesday and Wednesday this week when I received unexpected calls from two white ladies, respectively seeking help on the process of voting for Oscarine Masuluke.

If I may repeat it for the last time this week, Masuluke nominated for the Fifa Puskas Award for best goal of the year award along with Olivier Giroud and Deyna Castellanos.

Well Masuluke stands a good chance of brining this away home considering goals from his competitors are not as special as his goal against Orlando Pirates.

We know that Daily Sun is the People’s Paper read by all races, and this week’s calls were just true testimonials that Masuluke has united this country.

Well the system to vote for Masuluke for the Puskas Award is as simple as one, two, three.

But the ladies, whom I guess aren’t related in anyway, requested SunSport to help them on how to vote for Masuluke – and I said wow!

They wanted something unexpected from me and I guided them through the website they can use to vote for the goalkeeper who scored an incredible equalising goal against Orlando Pirates.

And South Africans have been united in this cause with social media all across the country encouraging people to vote for Masuluke.

We are all keeping our fingers crossed that the Limpopo lad amasses enough votes before tomorrow’s announcement in London.

Masuluke has about 95% chances of succeeding Mohd Faiz Subri.

The remarkable winner of the 2017 Fifa Puskas Award will be announced tomorrow at The Best Fifa Football Awards ceremony in London.

Time is running out and Daily Sun and Sunday Sun have equally been on a campaign trail to woo people to voting for Masuluke.

What I told the two ladies on Tuesday and Wednesday can also help you: Log onto www.fifa.com, go to the icon written vote:

Fifa Puskas Awards then you can vote for Masuluke, it is as easy like that. The remarkable trio of goals progressed from the first round of voting, which
