Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Ivory Coast trialist Ismael Olivier Traore has been released after failing to impress during his trail at Naturena.

The player has spent time at Chiefs along with Venezuelan striker Gustavo Paez, and defenders Pedro Henrique Dias de Amorim from Brazil and Miracle Gabeya from Malawi.

However, it appears Traore has not done enough to impress the club's coaching staff and technical team in order to win a deal. Amakhosi added that they have not made a decision as yet on the three other trialists.

Football manager Bobby Motaung said: "We have released the Ivorian player Ismael Olivier Traore back to his team. We will assess the remaining players in the next week before we come to a conclusion."

The Glamour Boys resume their Premiership campaign against Free State Stars on 7 February at FNB Stadium. The side have been preparing for the second half of the campaign since early January.
