BLOEMFONTEIN Celtic management will today unveil some of their new player’s that they have signed in preparations of the 2016-2017 seasons at DR Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

SunSport has reliably learnt that Jomo Cosmos defender Cheslyn Jampies and Khethokwakhe Masuku have joined Siwelele.

Lehlohonolo Majoro and PSL top goal scorer Collins Mbesuma are some of the players that are rumoured to have joined the club.

Celtic didn’t do well in the Absa Premiership past season which resulted in them finishing in a disappointing 11position with only 36 points.

The Club will also release some of the players that are not in the plans of Coach Serame Letsoaka for next season. Players that will be release include Thabang Matuka, Wayde Jooste contract expired and was not renewed and Helder Pelembe who was with them on a loan. The Mozambican forward didn’t do well as he only found net twice in the 2015-2016 season, and he is likely to go back to Orlando Pirates.

Jampies made 22 league appearances for Cosmos during the 2015/16 campaign, which earned him a call-up to Shakes Mashaba’s Bafana Bafana squad following a number of impressive performances for Ezenkosi.

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were also interested in the service of the player but Celtic were fast to move securing his signature.

Celtic is expected to reveal six or seven players which include three former Pirates players Midfielder Jacky Motsegwa, and a defender Sibusiso Mxoyana.

Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco refused to comment about the players that might be leaving and joining the club.

“I can’t comment right now let’s wait for Sunday. What I can tell you is the players that will be unveiled is the mixture of National First Division, PSL player’s we also promoted some of them from our development team” said Konco.

Coach Serame Letsoaka said thir pre-season starts tomorrow and they haven’t discussed his mandate but after they have got all the players they want they will.
