With only a month since forming the 2016 Nedbank Ke Yona team, this September 4th will see this team of young players take on the 2016 Nedbank Cup champions, SuperSport United at the Sinaba Stadium in Daveyton at 3pm.
The 2015 Ke Yona Graduates Ian Chikohwa and Jarred Meyer have both sent messages of encouragement that you can view here to the team and are challenging you to show your support and fill up the stadium on the day to cheer on the players as they face these giants.
The tickets to the match are free to the public and available from Computicket. All you need do is present your ID at Computicket where you will receive four tickets to attend the game. Supporters who can’t make it to the stadium can also catch the game live on SABC1 and SuperSport. .
Since inception in 2012, the annual Nedbank Ke Yona team search has unearthed more than 10 players which are now applying their traits in professional teams in the National First Division and Premier Soccer League.
Cape Town City’s Aubrey Modiba was named the 2016 PSL Young Player of the Season and will be playing for Bafana Bafana this coming Saturday, to prove that with the right support, anyone can realize their dream
