WORK TOWARDS YOUR SUCCESS

Joel 2:28 (KJV) says: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”.

God uses dreams to communicate His intended plans for mankind. God spoke to Joseph through dreams to reveal what the future held for him. God used a dream to reveal to Abraham that he was to become the most uncommon father on earth.

Your dream is the visible picture within you.

The Holy Spirit begins everything with an invisible picture. The uncommon dream is anything you want to become, do or have during your lifetime here on earth. Child of God, what do you dream of becoming, doing, or possessing? Do not let go of it.

You are in the picture and that is the real you. The second fact about the uncommon dream is that it is the real you in your future, not the present. The real you is not flawed, weak and confused. The real you is mature, developed and imprinted with the plan of God.

God keeps looking at the real you - the you in the future. Thirdly, for your uncommon dream to be fulfilled it must be believed and pursued.

It is not enough to dream, wake up and pursue that dream. Joseph believed in his dream and pursued it with all his might. He chose to embrace the dream. He fed it and nurtured it. In pursuing your dream you must know that Satan always uses the pictures of your past to blur and distort the picture of your future.

For example, Judas could not shake the picture of his past and he committed suicide.

Forgive yourself, forget your past and pursue your uncommon dream. It is critically important to note that even your family, relatives or friends will focus on your weakness rather than your uncommon dream.

This is because the enemy wants you to be preoccupied with correcting your flaws instead of marketing your strengths. Listen to me: yesterday is not your future. God doesn’t intend for it to appear again in your life. Paul said, “Forgetting those things that are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before or ahead”.

Isaiah (43:18-19) concurs and says, “Remember not the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.”
