God answers our prayers. Any believers can bear testimony to this fact. However, there are many others who have a long list of unanswered prayers.
John 16:23 reads: “And in that day you will ask nothing from me. Whatever you will ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”
Jesus taught the saints three important steps to getting your prayers answered.
Firstly, do not pray to Jesus. He said once he is gone to heaven, the saints will ask nothing from Him.
Secondly, all prayer must be directed to God the Father.
Finally, all prayer must be made in the name of Jesus.
Jesus is the only name worthy of attention in heaven, on earth and in hell.
Use Jesus’ name in prayer because it is highly exalted above all other names.
PRAYER FOR DELIVERANCE
If you would like to accept Jesus as your lord and saviour follow me in this prayer.
Dear Lord Jesus, I acknowledge I’m a sinner and that I can’t save myself.
I believe in my heart you died for me on the cross of Calvary. I confess that Jesus is Lord and believe Christ died for me. I believe from today, I’m a child of God and my sins are forgiven. Amen.
