FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).
The scripture above has just defined faith for us. Faith is a substance of things.
According to the dictionary a substance is “the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence”.
A substance is therefore a tangible thing.
Faith has the ability to give us tangible things that we are hoping for.
Secondly, faith is the evidence of things not seen. Faith provides both the substance and the evidence of that particular substance.
If you desire a car, faith will create that car and provide evidence of the car. This means the evidence of a believer is not presented the day we see the car in the physical.
Faith is spiritual currency connected to the word of God. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”.
Faith comes; this means that faith has mobility. If you lack faith, do not worry. Faith can still come to you.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God. This means whatever you desire, read, study and meditate on the word of God pertaining that need so that faith might come to you.
