PARTNERING WITH GOD

accreditation

Mark 16:15,20 (KJV) says, “[15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [20] And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen”.

The above Scripture gives an account of the disciples of Jesus Christ’s working relationship with Jehovah God. The Bible tells us that these disciples worked together with God; this means they partnered with God in their projects.

Child of God, it is possible to partner with God in your life. One of the greatest benefits of partnering with God is supernatural breakthrough. The Bible is full of testimonies of people who partnered with God. Abraham partnered with God and he became the greatest human being in the history of mankind.

Joseph also partnered with God and became the prime minister in a foreign land. Partnering with God guarantees supernatural breakthrough indeed; it clears barriers. Isaiah 45:1-3 (KJV) gives an account of Cyrus who partnered with God.

It says, “[1] Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; [2] I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: [3] And I will give thee the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.”

Brethren, I urge you to accept Jesus as your personal saviour. Surrender your life to God because He has plans for you to prosper. Invite the Lord into everything you do and allow Him to take the lead in all that you do.

Today we are concluding our series on the wonders of partnering with God. In reality, no one pursues God truthfully at a loss. This is by far the greatest benefit of partnering with God. Matthew (6:33) states: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.

This means as we pursue God, He grants us even the things we have not asked from Him.

The Bible tells us the story of Joseph, the son of Jacob, who lived his life in truthful pursuit of God and ended up in the palace. Joseph survived the rivalry of his own brothers, the false accusation of the most influential woman in the history of Egypt (Potiphar’s wife), and rose above the criminal record imposed on him to become the right-hand man of the king of Egypt. Psalm 102 shows that the pursuit of God decorates destinies.

This is of course a great benefit and advantage of partnering with God. God will decorate those who partner with Him with favour, precious goods, and the glory of the LORD. I can assure you that no one ever pursues God and ends up a failure. The first step of partnering with God is by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior.

Should you wish to accept Jesus today, kindly pray the salvation prayer at the end of this spiritual guidance column.
