Deuteronomy 28 says, if you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.
The scripture reveals the source of blessings and upliftment is obeying the word of God. This means if we need the blessings of the Lord we need to hear God’s word and act upon it. Abraham fully obeyed the word of God and offered his only son Isaac to God.
Because of this, God blessed Abraham and made him a father of many nations. Proverbs 10:22 says the blessing of the Lord makes a person rich and God adds no sorrow with it. A blessed person is empowered to prosper in every aspect of life. This means to prosper financially, materially, mentally, socially, spiritually and otherwise.
God assures us in Job 36:11 that if we obey and serve Him we will spend our days in prosperity and our years in pleasure. God desires for all His saints to enjoy life to tkhe full (John 10:10). He made this possible by giving up His only son to die on the cross in order to transfer the blessing of Abraham upon all humanity (Galatians 3:14).
We are carrying this blessing of the Lord within us, however, it is waiting to be activated through our obedience to the word of God. Child of God, obey God and His instructions and you will prosper.
