GOD CREATED MARRIAGE

accreditation

IN GENESIS 2:18, the Lord God said: “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him . . .”

According to the ancient plan of God, a woman – Eve – is designed to be a suitable helper for her marital partner.

This means a woman has a divine assignment, mandate and commission from God.

The perfect marital plan is between a male and female, who unite in holy matrimony to advance a God-Given assignment.

To understand the role of a woman, one must fully comprehend the role of a man. Genesis 2:28 provides the great assignment of mankind: “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

Man was commissioned to be fruitful (productive), to fill the earth, subdue the earth, and have dominion (rulership and control). Adam was put alone in the Garden of Eden to accomplish the assignment.

Adam could not have accomplished the assignment without the help of Eve. It should be stated that for every man there is a specifically assigned woman (Eve).

It is, therefore, the responsibility of man to search for his God-given life partner.
