“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . 19 that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:14,19)
The Bible verse above is a prayer which Apostle Paul said for the church in Ephesus. He wanted the people to be filled with the fullness of Christ.
Colossians 2:9 reveals the secret behind Jesus’ ability to perform great miracles. It says, “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”
Paul wanted the same experience for the church. He taught saints how to be filled with the fullness of God.
Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” This means that saints must read and study the Word of God daily.
Paul encourages saints to continue in the Word until Christ be formed in them (Galatians 4:19). Beloved, we need to immerse ourselves in the Word until we have put on Christ’s form (Galatians 3:27).
Paul himself had experienced this reality as he proclaims in Galatians 2:20, “...nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.”
Beloved, when we abide in the Word of God and let His Word abide in us, we will receive answers to our prayers.
John 15:7 says, “If ye abide in Me and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
Have you wondered why most of your prayers were not answered? Check your word life. Once Christ is formed in you, you will walk the walk of Christ, do the works of Christ and manifest the glory of Christ in your daily life.
