WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

accreditation

Ministers and their deputies should stop wasting taxpayers’ money!

How do they justify spending millions of rands on luxury cars?

It’s clear that some of them put themselves first, instead of the people they represent.

It seems the ministers compete among themselves as to who drives the best car in town.

Spending over R40 million on cars in the past three years shows how careless they are.

The money should have been spent to build RDPs.

Ministers, the people of South Africa don’t care which car you drive. All they need is proper service delivery.

Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan must tighten the budget when it comes to spending money on vehicles for the ministers and their deputies.

He is the only person who can stop this wasteful expenditure.

Every time people want money for something positive, they are told there’s no money. But part of their tax money is spent on luxury cars for ministers.

Our ministers must learn to put the people of Mzansi first.

They should be reminded that they are there to serve others, not themselves. This endless wasteful expenditure by our leaders must come to an end!

There’s no justification for flashy cars for ministers and their deputies.

Slight Ramphaka, Florida

We are always told to tighten our belts when it comes to finances. The same must apply to those who are in government. Ministers should be the ones leading by example. This letter wins R200.– Editor
