THANDI, SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE!

accreditation

Talented jazz legend Thandi Klaasen has left us.

Her death is truly a great loss to the music industry.

Mzansi has learnt a lot from Thandi’s life.

Even though she was attacked with acid as a teenager, she refused to let the incident get her down and went on to become an international name.

She was gifted, supportive and full of life. Thandi stood the test of time, building a career that lasted over five decades. The country is saddened by her death, but she lived her life to the full.

Her talent earned her numerous awards and global recognition.

The country is proud of this music veteran who won the love and respect of millions.

We should all celebrate Thandi’s life by following the good example she set us.

Songs such as Sophiatown will continue to entertain the country and remind us of her talent.

South Africa is incomplete without Thandi.

She will be missed and our thoughts are with her daughter Lorraine and her loved ones.

Thandi achieved so much while she was still alive.

We thank her for her hard work and kind spirit. May her soul rest in peace.
