It is so unfortunate that booze and substance abuse is out of control in our society and is our country’s biggest challenge.
When will people learn to understand that alcohol and drugs create chaos in our lives and never solve our everyday problems. They just make an already catastrophic situation worse.
Finding comfort by indulging in drugs, or by drinking too much is only temporary. Your problems will still be there waiting for you once you have sobered up.
No amount of booze or drugs will wash away your problems.
Social ills and challenges will always be there, no matter what, and will always need a sober mind to be dealt with.
Many families are broken and disorganised because of booze and drugs.
Relationships have crumbled and dreams have been shattered, promising careers have died a slow death and disappeared like snow at sunrise.
Lives have been flushed down the drain simply because of alcohol and substance abuse.
The saddest part about alcohol is that it offers no prize, no reward and no trophy to be proud of and will only leave you feeling like a useless idiot, miserable and broke.

This is absolutely true. Substance abuse is a massive problem. Many don’t realise alcohol can be an addiction, thinking because it’s legal, there’s no problem.
