CLEAN WATER IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT!

accreditation

Mzansi recently hosted a summit on Water and Sanitation as a human right at a high-level event attended by world leaders and UN officials in Durban.

Most consumers don’t know that everyone, everywhere in the world, has the right to clean, safe water for drinking and sanitation. On 28 September 2011, the United Nations Human Rights Council passed a new resolution which takes the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation a step further.

The resolution calls upon states and international organisations to provide financial resources to help countries, in particular developing ones, to provide safe, clean, accessible and affordable drinking water and sanitation for all.
