THE Human Rights Commission is finalising its findings on complaints against Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini.

Commission spokesman Isaac Mangena said in a statement yesterday the complaints were lodged at a moral regeneration event in Pongola, northern KZN last March.

In November, the commission released the preliminary findings of its investigation.

The king and 31 complainants were given until the end of last month to comment.

“Once the commission has applied its mind to the submissions received, this information will be used to finalise the report,” said Mangena.

Complaints of hate speech were lodged against the king after foreigners were attacked in KZN last March.
