There's a video making the rounds on Facebook showing a Sunlander discovering a spot where EMPD officers hide alleged bribe money.
In the video, which was uploaded last week Friday, a resident from Alberton, Ekurhuleni, is shown looking through the bushes.
What he discovers shocks him to the core.
Beneath the bushes is a wad of money—which is allegedly left by a metro cops from the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department.
The video begins with the man arriving at a scene where officers are conducting a roadblock.
He accused the cops of taking R300 bribe from his driver.
Suddenly, it cuts to the man searching underneath a bush by the side of Vereeniging Road.
The man asks the officer: “What’s this?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the officer says, while backing away slowly.
The resident, having none of it, threatens the cop to call the police on him.
“We found money in the bush,” he is heard saying.
