TWO trucks collided on the N1 South before Allandale Road just after New Road in Midrand on Monday afternoon.
Motorists were advised not to used the N1 South on after the serious truck accident.
It's alleged that the truck crashed into a Roads Agency truck and pushed it off the road and into a large road sign.
Advanced Life Support paramedics attended to the two male drivers.
Both had sustained moderate injuries, they were then stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospital for further assessment and care.
Traffic towards Allandale was backed up, as motorists were rerouting from the crash on the R101 Southbound.
Four lanes were closed-off by traffic officials.
