FOUR people were left injured on Tuesday morning when two trains collided at a depot in Ermelo, Mpumalanga.
According to ER24 paramedics when they arrived at the depot they found four people walking around the two trains.
"Paramedics assessed the four patients and found that all four had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene," ER24 said.
The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to hospital in Ermelo for further treatment.
It is reported that the two trains had collided at low speed inside the depot.
This train collision comes after a truck lost control and collided with a train in Kroonstad in the Free State, and about 19 people were killed in that accident.
A section of the train had burst into flames after colliding with the vehicles.
Meanwhile, last week a Metrorail train rear ended another train which resulted in over 200 commuters being injured when the two trains collided at the Geldenhuys Train Station in Germiston.
