TWO men were arrested today after they allegedly stabbed a police officer to death in Botshabelo outside Bloemfontein earlier this year, the Hawks said.
The two suspects, aged 25 and 32, were arrested in the early hours of Friday morning, said spokesman S'fiso Nyakane.
Constable Johannes Putsoeli (37) was killed in February.
He was found in an open field near Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium in Botshabelo with a stab wound to his upper body.
He was allegedly robbed of his service pistol, cellphone and wallet.
The men are expected to appear in the Botshabelo Magistrate's Court on Monday, facing charges of murder and robbery.
Nyakane said they were still searching for other suspects.
