THE mum of Nomthandazo Dlamini is hoping she will finally get her murdered daughter’s head for burial.
This comes after a 27-year-old woman accused of involvement in the murder on Tuesday told the
Ixopo Magistrates Court she no longer wanted to apply for bail and agreed to tell police who the head was sold to.
The suspect was bust in Pietermaritzburg in November.
She is accused of taking part in the murder of Nomthandazo, whose body was found without her head or arms.
Nomthandazo’s mum Buzani (44), from Bulwer in the KZN Midlands, told Daily Sun the family was disappointed that her
daughter’s body parts were still missing months after her murder.
She said on Tuesday, the investigating officer told her the suspect had given him the names of the buyers and said a taxi boss in the area was one of them.
“We have been praying to get my daughter’s remains and now it seems God is answering our prayers We’ll never have closure until we bury all my daughtre’s remains,” said the mother.
Nomthandazo was found dead in Sunrise Forest in September, a few days after she went missing.
Jwayelile Khuboni (37) was sentenced to 30 years in prison by the Pietermaritzburg Magistrates Court after confessing to the
murder.Before she was sentenced, she told the court the 27-year-old accused had helped her cut parts of the body off with a bush knife to sell for muthi.
Khuboni said she murdered Nomthandazo after finding out she was dating the father of her three kids.
