Nkosana Hlatshwayo was killed at his house in Zola 3, Soweto.

NKOSANA Hlatshwayo (25) was well-known for selling dagga – but now he is dead.

According to his brother Jabulani Hlatswayo, a man came to their room in Zola 3, Soweto and shot his brother dead because he didn’t have any weed.

Jabulani said: “The man demanded weed and when my brother told him he didn’t have any, this guy just shot him without warning. That’s when I screamed for help. After shooting my brother he told his friend they should run away.”

Nkosana died on the spot.

The murder happened on 25 April and cops have been looking for the suspect since then.

Nkosana’s mum, Ntombi Ngubeni (50), told Daily Sun everyone loved her son.

“My son was planning to go back to school to further his education but that won’t happen because of this heartless man.”

She said she knew the alleged killer’s mum, but she never came forward to apologise for what he had done.

“I think they are helping him hide from the police.”

Jabulani said he’s heard the guy is hiding somewhere in Tshepisong. He said he did it because he was drunk. Does being drunk give you the right to kill someone?” he asked.

Constable John Serala said they are looking for a suspect and are asking people to help them track him. “If anyone has information, please call officer Oupa Khubeka on 072 373 9614, me on 071 675 6547 or Moroka Police Station at 011 527 0000.”
