PATIENCE was home alone and asleep when she felt a cold hand on her legs.

She felt her pyjamas being pulled down and opened her eyes to see a half-naked man standing at her bed.

But instead of screaming in panic, the super mum kept her nerve . . . and when her would-be rapist pulled down his pants – she struck!

Patience Moyo (38) sprang out of bed and hit the man, who crumpled to the floor.

In a flash she was out of bed and as her attacker stood up she kicked him as hard as she could on his leg.

The evil thug ran out the door he had broken down minutes earlier.

Her husband, Fanuel Moyo, and dad Piet Maredi hailed Patience for her bravery and said she deserved a medal.

The incident happened on Monday morning in Cosmo City ext 2 , at about 3am.

Patience said she didn’t scream but waited for the right moment.

“I waited for him to take off his trousers before I attacked.

“I hit him with my fist and he fell down. He stood up and came towards me. After I kicked him on the leg, I started screaming,” she said.

The man then fled.

A case of housebreaking was opened at Honeydew cop shop.

Police are investigating.
