BOKORO Sebusi woke up early in the morning to unlock the gate, but then he went missing.

And the 38-year-old man from Thethe in Clocolan, near Ficksburg, was found dead last Thursday.

His naked body was found floating in the Moperi Dam, not far from his home.

Bokoro’s sister, Ditsheoana Sebusi (40), who lived with her brother after the death of their parents, said: “Last Saturday before we went to bed, my brother and I had a prayer as usual.

“On Sunday morning Bokoro went to unlock the gate, but he never came back to the house. I thought he had gone somewhere.

“I left for work, but when I came back home I found the door open.

“I asked the neighbours about Bokoro’s whereabouts, and they said they had not seen him.”

She said on Tuesday she reported him missing to the Clocolan cops.

“I was shocked when cops later told me that Bokoro’s body had been found floating in the dam.”

Police spokesman Captain Phumelelo Dhlamini confirmed the case.

He said that an inquest docket had been opened.
