THREE Metrorail carriages were set alight in Century City, Cape Town on Monday.
Metrorail said the Monte Vista line has been temporarily closed until further notice due to the fire incident at Century City.
Meanwhile, Metrorail advised its passengers to make use of the Northern Line Cape Town service.
