THANDI Radebe says when her husband died, her mamazala didn’t even tell her and to this day she doesn’t know where he was buried.
And now her husband, Michael, is visiting her in her dreams.
Thandi, of Turffontein in Joburg, told Daily Sun Michael bothers her every night, telling her he loved her in life and still loves her from the grave.
“He used to spoil me with special meals. Every day was like a honeymoon, but death robbed me and my children of everything,” she said.
Thandi said she was furious with her mother-in-law for not telling her when Michael died last year.
“I was in KZN when a friend phoned me to say my husband had died of natural causes in hospital. I had trouble believing her because no one from his family had contacted me,” she said.
“I know he doesn’t want me to suffer and he even wants to help me and the kids from the grave. He comes to me in my dreams and takes me to play Lotto.”
Thandi said the situation was made even worse by the fact that her mamazala kicked her out of the house her husband left behind.
“I want her out of the house. I cannot suffer while I have a house I could be living in,” she said.
When the SunTeam approached Thandi’s mamazala, Ntombi Radebe (76), she said Thandi left her husband and chose to live in KZN. She said her son left the house to her and she wasn’t going anywhere.
When the SunTeam asked to see the title deed to the house, she could only show receipts from the City of Joburg for payments.
