SYLVIA Mafaisa is living in fear.
The 52-year-old from Mokgesi Village, Sterkspruit said she was attacked by a horny man on Wednesday night.
“My boyfriend, Veleleni Mbhakaza (55), had gone out with his friends.
“I was preparing to go to bed when the man kicked his way in.”
Sylvia said he kicked her door open and demanded sex.
“He said Veleleni told him to come and sleep with me. I refused and a fight started,” she said.
Sylvia said the man tried to choke her to death but she managed to push him away.
“I screamed for help, and he ran away and disappeared in the dark night,” she said.
Sylvia told Daily Sun she went to fetch her boyfriend and told him what had happened.
Veleleni denied sending the man to come and poke his lover.
“I know this guy and I trusted him,” he said.
“He is a relative. I would never send any man to come and poke my girlfriend.
“I went to his place the next day and he was nowhere to be found.
“This makes me very angry.”
The pair went to Sterkspruit Police Station on Thursday to report the incident.
They say cops told them to come back the next day.
“I live in fear and I don’t want my boyfriend to be out of my sight.
“I’m worried because he may come back and finish me off.”
Police spokeswoman Captain Ursula Roelofse said: “I advise the woman to go back to the police station and ask to talk to the station commander.
“It would help if we had the name of the staff member who told her to come back the following day.
“The incident would then be investigated so that it will never happen again.”
