“OH! Thank you, Daily Sun, for giving me Christmas before Christmas.”

These were the words of a happy and lucky SunReader, George Goliath.

George (47) from Port Elizabeth in Eastern Cape is our grocery winner.

When George was handed his R2 500 grocery vouchers he was over the moon – again! This is not the first time he has won a Daily Sun competition. Six years ago he won R1 000 in an SMS competition.

“I cannot believe I won again.

“Winning once is hard, but two times? God is great to me.”

The regular reader of Daily Sun sent in as many entries as he could.

“I send four entries every week in the belief that Daily Sun shines on everyone,” he said.

The spaza shop owner said: “The vouchers came at the right time as we are gearing up for Christmas. I was panicking about how I could spoil my family this Christmas and the People’s Paper showed up when I needed help the most.”

George, who lives with his wife, two children and four grandchildren, said the groceries will help them.

“Thank you, Daily Sun and Checkers, for my Christmas present. I will always support you!”
