FARMER COUPLE SHOT, WIFE DEAD!

accreditation

Limpopo cops have launched a manhunt  for a group of armed men who shot a Limpopo farmer and his wife at their farm outside Bela-Bela in Limpopo on Wednesday.

The farmer (82) is recovering in hospital while his 73-year-old wife died from gun wounds.

It is alleged that four unknown armed suspects, two wearing balaclavas and hand cloves, arrived at TNT farm, pointed the domestic worker with firearms and instructed her to take them to the owner of the house.

Limpopo cops spokesman Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the men demanded money from the owner and during that process, fired shots at the couple.

Ngoepe said an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the farmer's house.

He said it is not yet clear if other things were taken from the house.

Anyone with information which can lead to the arrest of these suspects may contact Captain Richard Boshomane on 0798945501or the nearest Police Station or the crime stop number 0860010111 or the crime line SMS 32211.
