FOR nearly nine months the Limako family have been struggling to get their mum’s death certificate from Home Affairs.
But the problem is that Patricia Limako (45) had two IDs with different numbers. The family only became aware after her death in December last year.
Since her mum’s death, Zameka (23) and her dad, Richard (61) are desperate to get Patricia’s death certificate.
Richard said the problem was affecting his health. “I’ve been sickly because of this issue.”
Zameka said: “We really need the death certificate because we have to claim my mum’s money.”
Home Affairs spokesman Thabo Mokgola said: “We will contact Zameka to inform her of the outcome in due course.”
