WHEN their father died the three siblings thought they could
depend on their aunt, but they say she has
let them down.
Shingai (25), Rugare (18) and Wedzero
Masarita (22) are on the verge of becoming homeless because their aunt, Martha Mabana (61) has put their house in Ga-Rankuwa, north of Tshwane on auction.
It will be auctioned on Monday.
Their father died in 2014 and they thought they would inherit everything, but they got the shock of their lives when they found that Martha was the sole beneficiary.
Shingai said when she saw her father’s will, she and her siblings were not listed as the children of the dead man.
She said she believes her aunt faked her late
father’s will.
“I don’t think our father would have given our aunt everything without consulting us.”
“I’ve been in and out of courts trying to get
someone who could prove she stole our inheritance without any luck.”
She said when their
father was alive they had a good relationship with their aunt.
“The problems started when we had to bury him. Before we knew it, everyone on our dad’s side had disowned us.”

Martha told Daily Sun the reason the house was in her name was because her brother didn’t want his ex-wife to get it.
“On his deathbed he told me I should take the house before the mother of the kids came back to claim it.”
She said the house was being sold as it was not yet fully paid up.
“I told the kids they could stay with me or I’d buy them a stand but they refused.”
