ANC presidential hopeful Cyril Ramaphosa took his CR17 campaign to northern KZN on Sunday.

Ramaphosa was warmly welcomed at Ezibukweni Sports Field in Jozini.

He told his supporters to wait patiently and have faith in the party as the tables will turn for the better after the elective conference next month.

“Delegates from this region who will be part of the conference must choose wisely. The time for change has come,” he said.

Continuing with his speech, Ramaphosa said a lot still needed to be done to improve the economy of the country.

He said: “Corruption is crippling the country. There are state-owned companies that are mismanaged by incompetent people who steal taxpayers’ money. We need eligible people who will do their job perfectly.”

Ramaphosa started his campaign in Nongoma where he met Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini at Osuthu Palace, before addressing his supporters in Nongoma town.
