'DANNY JORDAAN RAPED ME' - JENNIFER!

accreditation

THE South African Football Association President, Danny Jordaan has been accused of raping former ANC MP and musician, Jennifer Ferguson.

Ferguson wrote on her blog and revealed to the world her ordeal of Jordaan allegedly raping her in 1997.

Speaking to Talk Radio 702's Stephen Grootes, Ferguson said she hopes to encourage those who've gone through the same ordeal to also break the silence and speak up.

She says following the social media hashtag campaign #MeToo, she was encouraged to speak of her nightmare.

Ferguson further explained that Jordaan allegedly raped her in a hotel room after he invited her to his room for a drink.

Following the alleged rape incident, she says she couldn't go report the case as she had took a bath and went for a walk on the beach.

"He overpowered me and painfully raped me. It must have been over in about 20 seconds although it felt like a lifetime. He left immediately without saying a word," Ferguson said.

Ferguson says it’s better to speak out about the abuse than to keep silent.

According to Ferguson, she battled with the pain for many years.

When Daily Sun tried to contact Danny Jordaan for a comment, the phone went straight to voicemail.

Eyewitness News and the Daily Maverick also made several attempts to contact Danny Jordaan with no success.
