YESTERDAY, Daily Sun told the story of how a sangoma’s indumba was hijacked.
Today, the People’s Paper can report that the place has been set free!
Johannes Ntsele (44), who locked the office after giving thousands to a sangoma who was scamming him, has also got some of his money back.
The owner of the building the indumba is in intervened and made a deal with Johannes after reading the story in Daily Sun.
“He said I was disturbing the peace and he wanted to end the matter,” said Johannes.
“We argued and he agreed to pay me R2 000 to unlock the indumba. I checked and the money was in my bank account.”
Johannes first went to the sangoma for help after there was a burglary at his house in Doornfontein, Joburg, and his money and appliances were stolen.
He paid R3 000 to a sangoma who claimed he could get the goods back.
However, he soon told Johannes to bring another R3 000 because there was a traffic jam in the spiritual highways. Johannes paid again and was disappointed again.
That was when Johannes decided to lock the indumba. However, the sangoma has not been seen since.
“Joburg is a small place and that fool better have muthi for the day I come across him again,” said Johannes.
The building owner said he didn’t know Johannes was scammed.
“This a place of business. There are other people running legal businesses here. I’m willing to pay R2 000 for him to leave my building,” he said.
Daily Sun tried to contact the sangoma but his phone continued to ring unanswered.
