THIS is a competition that nobody wants to win – or is it?
The Mr Ugly SA competition will take place in March at the Library Gardens in Limpopo.
The winner will get R3 500 in cash, a tablet and airtime vouchers worth R200. The first runner-up will go home with R2 500 and an airtime voucher for R150. Second runner-up will get R1 500 cash, a smart phone and R100 airtime.
The Mr World Ugly pageant is due to be held in Zimbabwe in 2017.
DJ Kiasto told Daily Sun the pageant is being held to help Limpopo’s disadvantaged.
“The door money will be donated to orphanages and old-age homes,” he said.
Kiasto said there will be performances by different artists.
