Award-winning bodybuilder Vusumzi Njisane has died aged 31.

THE bodybuilding community and people in Mthatha are mourning the death of their beloved Bulldozer.

Born and bred at Payne Village in Mthatha, Vusumzi “Bulldozer” Njisane (31) lost his battle with skin cancer last week.

His brother, Siya Nkohla, said the family is deeply saddened by his passing.

“He was our legend. We had hoped he would fully recover and get back on his feet again.

“He was too young to die.”

Siya added that the tough guy was in the process of finding a wife.

“In 2013, he fell ill but survived. He got sick again towards the end of the year and he lost the battle last week.”

Khaya Majeke, chairman of Bodybuilding South Africa, said Bulldozer’s death came as a shock.

“He was our young legend. The body-building industry is grieving. He was an inspiration to many,” said Majeke.

Bulldozer will be laid to rest on Saturday. The service will held at Kokstad City Hall.
