RECKSON Phaswana (39) is a lonely man and blames it all on his December bonus.

Reckson from Randfontein in Gauteng was so happy when he got paid his bonus last year, he went on a spending spree with friends.

But he ignored his responsibilities as a husband and neglected his family.

And, after his wife Khatho Nkgomme (32) left him in January, Reckson blames it all on the money he got at his work in Droogeheuwel, Randfontein.

“We have been living together for ten years. I went to work and she looked after the house. I am nothing without her. I don’t know what came over me and I’m very sorry for the mistakes I made,” he said.

“I want us to get back together and her forgiveness. I’m a changed man.”

According to Reckson, he begged for forgiveness ever since she left him but she never did.

“And now December is approaching and it brings back bad memories.

“She just told me she was visiting her family and never came back.

“When I called her, she reminded me of what I did with my bonuses,” he said.

Daily Sun managed to track Khatho down, but she still is angry.

“Yes, I did leave him. That man will never tell you the truth. He always thinks of himself and that is why I left him.

“He will never change. That December thing was not the first thing he did.”

She said Reckson must take his broken heart and move on. “I have started a new life as well,” she said.
