YET another SA soccer star narrowly avoided being killed last night when three thugs robbed him at gunpoint!

According to Soccer Laduma’s website, Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana defender, Erick Mathoho and two of his siblings were held up by gunmen in the Attridgeville area. The thugs took all their valuables and then drove off in Mathoho’s car.

In a statement, Mathoho’s representative said: “The car was later recovered after the police, who responded timeously, used a helicopter to search for the vehicle.

“The three men are still on the run and anyone with information about the hijacking is asked to contact the Atteridgeville police station. Fortunately Mathoho escaped the incident unscathed and his family is safe.”
