ALEX FM's DOSE of Health presenter Faith Gwedashe-Ndamse has died.
Gwedashe-Ndamse was involved in a car accident and got trapped in her car after the collision and died on the scene near Nanaga Farm Stall over the weekend.
"We have learnt with shock the passing of one of the people that made Alex FM and were dedicated to the struggles of the poor and people of Alex in particular," said Alex FM Station Manager Takalane Nemangowe.
According to Nemangowe, Gwedashe-Ndamse used her medical knowledge and expertise to help the poor and when she realised the need was too big, she decided to use Alex FM as a community vehicle to reach the people of Alexandra.
Nemangowe said in a statement: "On behalf of the people of Alexandra, Alex FM staff and the board, we pass our sincere condolences to the Gwedashe and Ndamse family."
Gwedashe-Ndamse presented a health radio show on Alex FM, and was a pharmacist with over 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
In 2014 she made it to the top 10 of the highly popular Mrs. South Africa beauty pageant.
She was involved in motivational speaking and had aspirations of becoming a pageant coach.
