SHE says she feels sexy walking around half-naked – but the women of her kasi want her to stop.
Nonhlanhla Qwabe (41), a professional nurse from QwaQwa in the Free State, told Daily Sun she just enjoys entertaining people and doesn’t want to end marriages.
“I have a naughty bum and I love playing with it,” she said.
“I feel good being naked because this is our culture as Africans.
“I am not trying to tempt men and I am certainly not a prostitute,” Nonhlanhla said.
“I dance at clubs to entertain people. I dress the way I feel comfortable and if people feel offended, it’s their problem.
“I believe the other women are just insecure because I’m sexy.
“It’s not my fault that people enjoy watching and touching me when I dance. I go to clubs to dance and entertain and as a result, I get gigs to perform at local clubs and private parties.”
One angry QwaQwa woman told the People’s Paper that they are planning a meeting to discuss how they can stop Nonhlanhla from behaving badly.
“She is bringing evil things to the community. There are small kids here,” said the woman, who didn’t want to be named.
“She sometimes walks the streets wearing disgusting clothes. Do you call that a wise woman?”
Resident Amanda Pokoane (39) said what Nonhlanhla was doing was actually destroying relationships.
“I will never allow my husband to go where she is or even watch her dance anywhere,” she said.
“What kind of woman would allow her husband to go and touch another woman’s punani?”
