Vatican City, Europe ~ Pope Francis has urged the world’s Catholics not to ignore the plight of migrants.
In his traditional Christmas address on Monday he also called for peace in Jerusalem.
Tens of thousands of worshippers gathered at the Vatican to hear the pontiff’s message. It was delivered hours after a Christmas Eve mass that he led and in which he spoke about migrants who had been “driven from their land” because of leaders “willing to shed innocent blood”.
The pope’s message sought peace for Jerusalem and for all the Holy Land. – NEWS24
